Overview

Join a naturalist for this FREE program every Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:00 am. We will explore around the park and up on the Butler-Freeport Trail - let's see what birds we might find, and anything else that catches our eye! Anything hanging out on the creek? This is a great way to get to know the park and sections of the Butler-Freeport Trail. You'll enjoy seeing the changes in each season.

Registration is requested so we can best plan. No experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and binoculars if you have them; we'll have some to borrow if needed. Meet at the Pavilion to start the exploration.

Buffalo Creek Nature Park can have some uneven ground, but the Butler-Freeport is flat. However, both areas can be wet, muddy, or even still have some ice as we transition into the spring months; be sure to have proper footwear to best enjoy your walk.
