Overview

Join millions in this global event to collect data about birds in your own backyard and beyond during the 2025 Great Backyard Bird Count. Join Jennings Staff on Saturday, February 15th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM to contribute to research on bird biodiversity, movements, and population trends. Learn and practice bird identification, as you observe and count birds at Jennings’ feeders and learn about the latest Apps and online resources to help you identify birds and record your sightings. Then use your new skills to count birds and submit data at home!





This program is designed for anyone 12 and older who is interested in birds but is also great for teachers and youth leaders who want to involve students in citizen science projects. This is a free program, but registration is required no later than Wednesday, February 12th. Register online or by calling the Center at 724-794-6011.
