Overview
Spinner Fishing is an exciting way to attract trout to your line. This two-week course will cover all topics of spin fishing for trout with instructor Chad Hough. With a combined 30 plus years of trout fishing experience and knowledge, Chad is the current President of Trout Unlimited, Arrowhead Chapter, a partner in the Buffalo Creek Coalition.
During the first class, you will learn more about the sport along with hands-on activities such as tying knots, terminal tackle and leaders, types of spinners, spinner selection, selecting a rod and reel, and reading waters.
In the second class, you will construct/build your own trout spinner, view a demonstration by Chad in Little Buffalo Creek, and have a chance to try out your learned Spin Fishing Techniques.
$15 per Audubon member, $25 nonmember (payment for the March 18 class will cover both sessions); all materials will be provided. This class is designed for ages 14 through adult. Those under the age of 16, must have an adult accompany them.
